Delightful read as usual. Reminded me of a book I picked up when I travelled to India in 2020 - The Shooting Star by Shivya Nath. My takeaway from your piece is - Answering the WHY question offset provides the answers for a whole host of other questions that propels you from decision paralysis to action. Thank you.

Thank you :) I have the book but yet to read it. I've been a regular reader of her blog though, and now her newsletter. She's one of the few influencers who still inspires me with her offbeat travels. Glad you enjoyed the post.

Almost not fair I want to say that you will post once in a fortnight. It's so easy to get lost in your writing. Very clear - simple - and for anyone else reading this - click on the soundtrack Ila puts - and scroll down the post as it plays. I've been on the other side - when my sales team members used to call me often after they reported in their rural posts - 'sir, this distributors office also does not have a toilet' - horrendous it still is for women. So much to take away from this post - big fan I am Ila! thank you!

This was a wonderful post. I loved the way you shifted from the dreamy aspects to the concrete details related to travel. Look forward to more...
