Lovely post, Ila!

Couldn't agree more about the breadth and depth of experiences eventually shaping our lives. Enjoyed the sound bath description. Very intrigued by it now, haha.

And, of course, Einaudi is everything. :)

Your words paint fantastic pictures in the mind… creating an Immediate desire to experience the music bath myself. And then I fear that reality may not live up to your interpretation which I treasure more. More power to your pen, your travels, to you Ila.

I didn’t know such a thing exists. I now know it exists. So thank you so much Ila. I decided about 12 odd years ago to get one song/piece of music from everyone I meet, not the ‘Jai ho’ equivalent of their culture but something deeper. I have had decent success so far but what you have recommended towards the end would top the selection. So thank you again, Ila

I have a similar experience every time I play the swar tarang I got from Dilli Haat :)

Takes me back to the sounds of and memories of Auroville.

Have been extremely busy with work and studies this past one month and hence had the time to go through my Substack feed. Such a beautifully written piece, Ila and I am so glad that this is the first piece I am reading post my mini hiatus from Substack. And I totally agree, soynd truly is healing!
