There is so much exploring you are doing using social media that it almost convinced me to get back to it. Then I remembered - not everyone can capture or reproduce what they feel the way you do. So better sense prevailed. I know someday I will get around to exploring everything and even if I don’t, I will at least have your posts to savor and be there. May you travel so much that you get tired of it and then to get over that, may you travel more. Always.

That you will pick Amitava’s episode doesn’t surprise me, It confirms what I knew you will do - even though I never thought about this before.

Much gratitude for writing this ila.

Loved how you're being and walking with poetry:) Your bit on sunsets reminded me of an essay by John Green called "On Sunset". You might like it. :)

Thank you so much. Looking for the essay right away! Is it part of his book titled 'The Anthropocene Reviewed'?

This is so soothing. Thank you so much for this Gem. So much Gratitude. I can't explain how much I enjoyed while reading following paragraph "On days when poems don’t come to me, I find solace in my daily night walk. It opens up the pores of my mind. It helps me focus my attention on the present moment, detached from the past and the future. I notice the different shapes of the leaves strewn across the walking path in the park, the snails crawling from point to point in the darkness, crushed flowers glittering under the moonlight"

Such a lovely introspective essay! Your writing slows down time and immerses the reader into the place or experience you are describing - its mesmeric. I recently read Wild Himalaya by Stephen Alter, which had the same effect on me. Do check it out, I think you would enjoy it. :)

I am still stuck at a stage where I do not enjoy (perhaps because I do not always understand) poetry, but the poems you shared are delightful. So thank you for writing this and for sharing the poems!

You write well but not much is known about your background.i think people try to flirt online so you avoid it

Why is it necessary for the world to know everything about my background? I share whatever I am comfortable with sharing and is relevant to the content I post. And yes, men don't understand boundaries or have a sense of what's appropriate/not appropriate to say to strangers online, especially women. If they had more decency maybe women would feel more safe online.
