Love it! I never knew this about Taro. I thought it was for people who believed in fortune telling. But your words show Taro has a deeper meaning. Learned something new today♥️
Haha… if not for Zohra I would be a skeptic snail too 😂 Perhaps I still am, while being open to possibilities, so in a way it’s a good thing :) Thanks for reading, Raju!
A little bit of magic here too in that the first two posts on Ochre Sky were about Tarot 😊. And I love using my deck - the answers are always within and the cards, like writing, can help access those answers.
Thank you! Yes, tarot can function as a coping mechanism, much like religion does for many people. Both provide frameworks that help individuals make sense of uncertainty, gain emotional insight, and feel a sense of control or comfort in difficult times. But religion typically involves faith in a higher power or divine truth, while tarot is used as a psychological or symbolic tool - and there’s no absolute truth. Interpretations and insights keep evolving - and also vary a lot person to person.
Man and his symbols - is a good place to start getting to know Jung
It’s been sitting on my bookshelf forever! Will read it soon :)
+1. A good read

It was a revelation for me too ☺️
Lovely read. Also I remember 'tarocchi' from second season of The White lotus show :D Didn't realise there was an origin story behind it.
Haha! I need to catch up on this series…
I have been opening up to Tarot with the speed of a skeptical snail. But but but, I feel like claiming this magic now. Thank you, Ila.

Interesting, a tool to stay aligned with your intuition, so beautiful.
Lovely read Ila, you write so beautifully!
Aww thank you!
One has to believe some things to see them.
Indeed 🙌🏾

Haha, I am sure that was Raju’s curation skills more than magic 😛So nice to hear you have a deck too!
Good one, Ila, loved reading this..
Just wondering, isn't this another coping mechanism like God or Religion?
